New Tape - Outer Minds - Outer Minds - These local dudes, forgive yourself for not recognizing the name as it's changed a few times already, have a single out on Hozac and this tape on Plus Tapes. Their tape has a twangy garage pop sound enhanced by multi-part nice boy / girl harmonies and melodies reminiscent of the Vivian Girls dueting with the Black Lips. Apparently, Outer Minds includes Mary from the Runnies on keys. Recommended, pro-dubbed, and limited to 200 copies.
