New LP - Best Coast - Crazy For You - Limited First Press - Hand Numbered Out Of 4000 - One of the most highly anticipated releases of the year is upon us. Just a few months ago, it was difficult to discuss Best Coast without referencing Bethany's previous band, Pocahaunted, but Best Coast has quickly surpassed the solid reputation of Pocahaunted's output and become a virtual household name. Mexican Summer was wise to get in on the ground floor with Best Coast as they now hold the honor of calling "Crazy For You" their own. Here's how Mexican Summer is selling this, their biggest release to date:

Those previous singles sold out faster than we could bring 'em in, but we've smartened up and ordered pretty heavy on this one, only to sell through nearly half of the stock before we even wrote this description. Demand for "Crazy For You" has been crazy to say the least and we don't imagine the initial run of 4000(!) copies lasting long. Who hand-numbers 4000 copies anyhow? Mexican Summer, that's who. Regardless of whether you’re a super fan or a hater, we think you'll find "Crazy For You" ridiculously catchy. It's fulla earworms that burrow their way into your skull and breed. The first cut on the record, "Boyfriend", must be hella tired, 'cuz it's been running through our minds all day. That's how the whole record is. We consider that a good thing. This record's gonna be HUGE! Do we need to tell you that we recommend this one? You're probably gonna buy it either way. Not a bad idea.
